What is RadioVIS? ▾
RadioVIS (ETSI TS 102 979) lets your station push now-playing artwork and text to Hybrid Radio receivers, car stereos, desktop apps, and smart speakers, over a STOMP WebSocket connection.

Two message types:
IMAGE, a URL pointing to the artwork for the current song or show
TEXT, a short text string (artist/title, traffic info, etc.)

Your STOMP broker listens on port 61613. The DNS SRV record _radiovis._tcp.{your-host} tells receivers where to connect.
